Last weekend we wrapped up our joint project with the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club. One hundred flags honored one hundred veterans on a banner of honor near the Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney. Proceeds from the flag sponsorships totaled $5,050, and we presented a check to Smiles Charity, which provides mortgage-free homes to veterans.
