Flag Lease is $90 for Veterans Day 2024 and ALL six holidays in 2025.

  • North of Highway 380 to Bloomdale Road (From Custer to US-75, and also Including Trinity Falls and Del Webb area)

Rotarian volunteers will install (and remove) a flag from your property (either home or business) for these six major holidays:
  • Memorial Day                         
  • Flag Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day AND Patriot Day
  • Veterans Day
The annual lease includes a 5' x 3' flag on a 10-foot pole for all six holidays, plus the installation of a small unobtrusive, capped PVC bracket in your lawn (where the flagpole will be seated). The flags will be delivered by Rotarian volunteers prior to the holiday and will be picked up soon after the holiday (weather and volunteer schedule permitting).

The McKinney Rotary flag program funds Support: Grants primarily for education, veterans, social service and youth agencies, programs for youth and the elderly, civic and community endeavors that enhance the quality of life. International programs that address these various areas in need of support are given consideration. Limitations: Applicant must be a 501 (c) 3 and in operation a minimum of 12 months. No grants to individuals, or for ongoing operating budgets, deficit financing, advertising, publications or conferences, and no loans. If International, must meet equivalent 501 (c) 3 criteria.
