Members of the Rotary Club of McKinney were honored to attend the grand opening of Hugs Cafe's new location, celebrating an important milestone for one of our community's most inspiring organizations.

During the celebration, the club presented a custom engraved commemorative plaque recognizing both the grand opening and the valued partnership between Hugs Cafe and the Rotary Club of McKinney.

The event was especially meaningful, as Rotarians had previously toured the facility while it was still under construction, witnessing firsthand the transformation of the space into the welcoming destination it is today.

Representing the club were Mark Potter, who serves on the Hugs Cafe Board of Directors; Mayor Bill Cox, a fellow Rotarian; Club President Rob Whyth; Immediate Past President Stephanie Talley; Public Image Chair Anca Wetegrove; Paul Harris Chair Penni Goodpasture; and Frederik Frazier. Their presence reflected Rotary's continued commitment to supporting organizations that create opportunities, promote inclusion, and strengthen the McKinney community.

Congratulations to the entire Hugs Cafe team on this remarkable achievement. The Rotary Club of McKinney is proud to celebrate this milestone and looks forward to continuing this meaningful partnership for years to come.
