The Corporation was established in 1996 when voters approved a 1/2 cent sales tax to be used to support Community and economic development projects that enhance quality of life in McKinney.
Chris Hill	Jul 31, 2020	Collin County Updates Chris Hill was elected to serve as the Collin County Judge, having been previously elected as the County Commissioner for Precinct 3 in 2012 and 2016. Chris is a sixth-generation native Texan and a Fourth-generation resident of Collin County. His great-great Grandfather was a Collin County Farmer in the early 1900s. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Laura, for twenty years. Today they live in Collin County with their three children!
